ABSTRACT / САЖЕТАК:

Metafora predstavlja jedan od najvažnijih načina razumevanja apstraktnih pojmova u engleskom jeziku ekonomije i poslovanja. Unutar šireg okvira primenjene kognitivne lingvistike (Boers, 2013; Boers & Lindstromberg, 2008; De Knop et al., 2010), u ovom radu ukazujemo na neke od najznačajnijih aspekata upotrebe metafora u ekonomskom i poslovnom diskursu u nastavi engleskog jezika nauke i struke na tercijarnom nivou u svrhu unapređenja jezičkih kompetencija studenata. Zasnivajući razmatranja na prethodnim studijama (Đurović & Silaški, 2011, 2014, 2016; Silaški & Đurović, 2010a, 2010b), u radu razmatramo metafore sa stanovišta 1) učenja i usvajanja metaforičkih izraza vezanih za dominantne pojmove (npr. EKONOMIJA, TRŽIŠTE, NOVAC) u oblasti specijalizovane leksike (stručni termini i kolokacioni obrasci) u naučno-popularnom jeziku ekonomije i poslovanja; 2) pragmatičke uloge metafore kao mehanizma za dublje sagledavanje pojmovnog aparata ekonomske nauke; i 3) prevodivosti, odnosno stepena očuvanja figurativnosti izraza prilikom njihovog prevođenja sa engleskog na srpski jezik. Svaki od posmatranih aspekata ilustrujemo primerima iz nastavne prakse.
