САЖЕТАК / ABSTRACT:
This paper presents a modified system for powering low-voltage fluorescent lamps with pulsing direct current based on the author’s approved patent. The system makes it possible to use lamps that have burned out at one end, thus significantly extending their working life. Postponing recycling and destroying burned-out fluorescent lamps saves material resources and eliminates the problem of recycling toxic mercury (Hg), which is an integral part of the gas in this type of lamps.
