ШТЕТНИ УТИЦАЈ КОЦКАЊА: АНАЛИЗА ДОМАЋИХ ЕМПИРИЈСКИХ ИСТРАЖИВАЊА

САЖЕТАК / ABSTRACT:

Непосредна и свакодневна лаичка опсервација сведочи о великом броју локација за клађење и коцкање у нашој земљи и о њиховој константној посећености, као и о свакодневном и интензивном маркетиншком промовисању ових објеката у свим медијима. Стога јавност углавном не препознаје штетни потенцијал коцкарских игара, коцкање прихвата као легалну и легитимну слободну активност или вид забаве, а евентуалну адикцију углавном перципира као мање озбиљну, што ствара значајне препреке у лечењу особа са поремећајима коцкања. У раду се анализирају емпиријски подаци  о коцкању и патолошком коцкању и закључује да постоји евидентно   недовољан број домаћих  емпиријских истраживања о проблематичном и патолошком коцкању и да су подаци о, ионако малобројним, истраживањима углавном посредно доступни преко различитих медијских и других саопштавања, што отежава анализу, методолошку компарацију, поређење и синтезу добијених резултата. Ипак, и постојећа малобројна и методолошки неуједначена истраживања, указују на високу преваленцу коцкања међу одраслима и висок ниво учешћа младих у коцкарским активностима. За објективно сагледавање сложеног феномена коцкања и његових штетних последица и креирање јавних политика и превентивних стратегија неопходан је шири, методолошки поуздан, емпиријски увид у проблематику патолошког коцкања.
