SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:
This paper examines the relationship between schizophrenic states, as understood in interactive psychoanalysis, and the stages of Jean Piaget’s theory of cognitive development, using an epistemological-logical framework. According to Piaget, knowledge emerges through interaction with the environment, progressing from sensorimotor perception to symbolic thought, concrete operations, and formal abstraction. Interactive psychoanalysis emphasizes that schizophrenic states involve a disrupted relation between concept and environment, particularly at the level of fundamental categories such as space and time, leading to a disorganization of sensory experience. From a Piagetian perspective, this can be interpreted as a regression from formal, abstract thinking to earlier, less differentiated cognitive stages.
