САЖЕТАК:
In vivo genotoksična aktivnost metanolnih ekstrakata nadzemnog dela i korena biljke Lysimachia vulgaris L. i potecijalna sposobnost zaštite DNK od oštećenja indukovana etil metansulfonatom ispitane su primenom komet testa na Drosophila melanogaster. Dobijeni rezultati nisu otkrili značajne razlike u indeksu genetičkog oštećenja između tretiranih grupa (20, 40, 80 mg mL-1 hrane za Drosophila) i negativne kontrole, ukazujući na negenotoksični efekat ekstrakata. Kombinovani tretmani ekstrakata i etil metansulfonata pokazali su statistički značajno smanjenje oštećenja DNK sa procentom redukcije iznad 80%. Rezultati sugerišu da bi metanolni ekstrakti biljke L. vulgaris mogli da se koriste kao prirodni agensi u prevenciji bolesti povezanih sa oštećenjem DNK.
