САЖЕТАК:
Mnoga poljoprivredna gazdinstva gaje tikvu koju koriste za ishranu ljudi i domaćih životinja. Sporedni proizvod u ovoj proizvodnji je tikvino seme. Od njega se može dobiti vrlo kvalitetno salatno ulje, koje ima visoku tržišnu cenu. Tikvino seme sadrži do 55% ulja. U radu je analizirano 19 genotipova tikve poreklom iz Centralne i Zapadne Srbije. Merena je masa ploda, masa suvog semena i randman semena. Najveća masa ploda i masa semena utvrđena je kod G13 i G4, dok je randman semena bio najveći kod G19 i G3 i bio je obrnuto proporcionalan u odnosu na masu ploda i semena. Genotipovi pogodni za proizvodnju semena tikve treba da imaju veći broj manjih plodova (2-5 kg), koji imaju bolji randman semena, a samim tim su značajni i za proizvodnju ulja.
