ABSTRACT / САЖЕТАК:
Sustainable food production is becoming an increasingly important aspect in the fight against climate change and the protection of natural resources. The aim of the paper is to investigate the citizens attitudes of Eastern Serbia towards sustainable food production and the factors that influence their willingness to support sustainable practices. The survey analyzed key attitudes about the benefits and challenges of sustainable agriculture, which were statistically processed and presented in the paper. The results show a high level of awareness of the importance of sustainability, but also insufficient information about concrete steps, and guidelines are proposed for improving education and promotion of sustainable production in this region.
