САЖЕТАК:

Захтев за приступачношћу и доступношћу различитих игровних активности знатно одређује квалитет ране инклузије деце са сметњама и тешкоћама у развоју. Приступачност игре у инклузивном окружењу, поред прилагођавања простора и игровних садржаја различитим потребама деце, у великој мери се постиже и применом начела универзалног дизајна који позива на признавање и пружање услуга људској разноликости. Универзални дизајн се у основи дефинише као дизајн производа и окружења употребљивих за све људе, без потребе за прилагођавањем или специјализованим дизајном, али се његов концепт последњих деценија проширио на све аспекте друштвеног живота. У овом раду се, након разматрања важности игре за свеукупни развој детета, анализирају карактеристике игре деце са сметњама и тешкоћама у развоју и карактеристике игре у инклузивном окружењу, а затим се указује на основне смернице у примени универзалног дизајна у креирању и повећању приступачности игре и инклузивних игралишта.
